What this job involves
This role will play a fundamental role in creating and delivering exceptional experiences. We are looking for an Events Leader that will be working with the Workplace Experience team to create the best workplaces in the EMEA Region. The ideal candidate is a master communicator, whose intrinsic purpose is to build a sense of community, connection, and belonging through the events and engagement program you create; someone who has a tireless focus on delivering an experience that aligns with JLL values and its highly-engaging culture.
Produce awesome, amazing, & unique events and drive engagement
Be an active Events Team participant and collaborate
Understand the greater purpose of the events (the why)
Experiment and find opportunities to scale operations
Effectively manage an events program for Remote Client Sites based in Europe
Successfully co-manage Global Events Program with APAC & AMER Regional Manager
Influence Events Team
Effectively influence an events team
Motivate team to think big and think outside of comfort zone
Inspire team to seek inspiration and experiment
Team up with JLL Guest Services Team to produce / execute exciting and creative events
Strategize with Events Program Manager (Client) and other Regional Events Lead (JLL)
Ability to bring Client’s vision to life through virtual and in person events
Planning (In-Person) - Manage the plans / strategy / outside vendors for these 3 events
Big 3 - Holiday Party, Big Bash Annual Team Building Event and Friends & Family Day
Serve as point person/lead internally for event
Create event theme (Big Bash theme and main program determined by events team as a whole)
Manage 3rd party event planner if using for event production assistance or staffing
Own site-specific vendor selection and execution
Ensure vendors have required insurance and meet legal requirements
Create and manage internal registration
Lead on site event day for set up/bump in, event duration and break down/bump out Celebrations
Monthly celebrations, TGIF, socials and holiday related events in the office
Manage catering vendors for events
Support catering requests with ordering, purchasing, and building logistics
Support Team Building activities for - Vendor recommendations, payment assistance
Sourcing, management, scheduling, logistics, and budget management for all wellness-related initiatives
Be proactive in sourcing innovative wellness ideas that may not be commonplace in the industry and trial
Mental Health focused initiatives including mindfulness, meditation, etc.
Oversee engagement levels and attendance and swap out instructors or class types as needed
Implementations & Communications
Responsible for planning and managing site specific Event communications and contributing to managing global communications
Creation of detailed planning pages for all major events
Weekly site Workplace Experience Team updates
Monitor and update site specific, event specific and global chat rooms
Respond quickly to hello page comments
Curate site or contribute to global events newsletter with content, graphics, etc.
Be prepared to communicate with all levels of management in the organization
Work cooperatively and jointly with internal (departments) and external (vendors) contacts to provide quality customer service to staff
Weekly promotion of events via slack and/or sending calendar invites
Newsletter layout, content, graphics, review, send out, etc. whether site specific or global
